Unlike the Baroque art which was it's predecessor, Rococo had a much more fun theme. Baroque came out of the Council of Trent and was mainly used to spread the teachings of the Catholic church across Europe. But then some artists got tired of persecuting people based on religion so they decided to have a little fun and paint some cool stuff, much better than that of foul Baroque art. Easily the most recognizable work from the Rococo period, "The Swing" by Jean-Honore Fragonard depicts the very meaning of Rococo art. Another work by Fragonard, this is "Blind Man's Bluff." He really enjoyed focusing the light colors in his works in the center of the painting while having the darkness more prevalent on the outside. The dude on the right is drunk I think, while the woman is just blown away by whatever this man on the left is doing, as he has pushed over a chair and thrown paper everywhere.
